Welcome
We are an Afro percussion group that
has been based in Glasgow for the last 7 years. We play the
fantastic and diverse rhythms and songs of traditional West Africa and the
West Indies. The music is played on "Djembe"
and "Dundun" drums as well as a variety of other percussion instruments such as
bells, shakers,... They produce a fascinating and colourful collage of rhythms
originally played during celebrations (such as religious occasions, harvests or
victories), work and initiation rites.
Our performances produce a rhythmic feast
that is enjoyable for all.
We teach West-African drumming and dancing as
they are highly related.
